Softball Nationals 2004

Coast ended the 2004 season with a 5th place Division II finish. We had some great high points winning games against the Chicago RIC Cubs II, the St. Louis Rams, and the Columbus Pioneers. Wonderful plays were interspersed between our growing moments. Memorable moments include Aleki's two home runs; Chris throwing out base runners from home plate; Justin, Brent, and Jeff always hustling and covering from the outfield; Tony, Tim, and Bill for solid play from any position, Silas for his bat at the right moments, Roger and Joe for their pitching and ability to play more than one position; and Kim for being there when we needed her.

Half of Coasts' players were recognized at the banquet for individual achievements:

All-Star Team: Tim Fornachon (Class I), Jeff Loyd (Class III), Justin Siebert (Class II)
Fastest Baserunner Class III: Brent Bicket
Most Accurate Arm Class I: Tim Fornachon
Most Accurate Pitcher: Roger Parks
All Tournament Left Field: Brent Bicket
All Tournament Center Field: Jeff Loyd
All Tournament Rookie of the Year: Aleki Fualau

Brent Bicket also won the Sportsmanship Award at the Chicago RIC tournament the weekend prior to Nationals.

Congratulation to all Center Coast Team members for their individual effort and team play.
