It’s that easy and you have truly been supportive of our wheelchair sports programs. The Confluence, like all such organizations, needs to develop sources of support and funding. The Confluence has worked diligently to provide sporting opportunities to our athletes. We charge no fees to any of our athletes. We try as hard as we can to be as supportive as we can of all our athletes not just with programs, practices, tournaments and travel but with equipment as well. We have steered clear of the coupon book, cookie/candy/ sales approach to funding. We have found a very cool way to help fund our adaptive sports programs.

The Confluence receives between 1% & 3% of your purchase price. The percentage is calculated and paid out monthly. If your purchases in any given month rise above $500 the percentage contributed moves from 1% to as high as 3 %.

Macy’s has just joined the group of E-Scrip merchants in the St. Louis area. If you have a Macy’s card, register it with E-Scrip. Every time you charge on you Macy’s card, you are supporting The Confluence.

Another way is to apply for an E-Scrip Visa. Every time you use this card, 2% of your spending is rewarded to The Confluence.

You can also register your credit and debit cards with E-Scrip. When you spend at a participating merchant with a registered card, 1% - 5% of your spending is awarded to The Confluence.

All you have to do is make sure you register your cards as a supporter of The Gateway Confluence Wheelchair Sports Foundation, Group ID# 500016071. When you first enroll by phone or by internet, give E-Scrip your email address and you will be able to log in to www.escrip.com and learn about other ways to support The Confluence. Then you can manage your giving and track your contributions to The Confluence. You can also check for a list of E-scrip merchants and direct your shopping needs towards a store that will support our organization.

One more way you can help The Confluence is to encourage your friends to enroll. These percentages are small but they can be mighty if we get lots of people to participate. If you would like us to enroll you and send you a Schnucks card, contact the office by phone or email. All we need is your name, address and email.
